March 8 202 update: just added a larger gear 112mm with 186 teeth to be used with large cups
This a large (97mm diameter) gear and new improved motor bracket to go with the RotaJig rotary jig for laser engravers. With this gear it is possible to engrave cups and tumblers larger than 80mm. I used an Anet A8 printer, temperature 210 C, glass bet at 45 deg. C and speed of 65mm/s to 75mm/s, layer height of 0.16mm
But if you use a better printer you could use faster speed.
Other material necessary to build this jig are 5mm steel axles, a motor (0.8A or similar) M5 and M3 screws and nuts, either wooden base or 4 aluminum 2020 type rails of 20cm length each.
