Description

This is an adjustable Z axis endstop for the Creality Ender 3. Makes it easier to adjust the bed height when your bed is already level.

Hardware needed:
1 M3 x 40mm countersunk screw
2 M3 nuts
1 M3 washer
1 Bedspring (the soft original spring that you have replaced with stiffer springs)
and also the original hardware for the switch bracket.

Print the "Base" standing up or upside down.
Print the "Slider" laying on its left side to get vertical layer lines for smoother operation.
Print the "Wheel" upside down.
You may need to sand the parts for a good fit depending on your printer.
Glue a nut inside the "Slider"
Mount the switch with original screws, put the spring on top of the "Slider" and slide it in, then mount the "Base" with the T-nuts and screws from original bracket. Put the M3 screw in the "Wheel" and a nut on the underside and a washer below the nut and screw it into the "Base".
You should probably use some grease for smoother operation.

If you try it out and it does not have enough adjustment range let me know so I can change it or make alternative parts. My Ender 3 is not all stock.

Use the short version of the slider if you have a lower bed height.
