Description

So I have been working on building my Tarmo3 for a few weeks, found a few things that I wanted to change. I had problems with the axles printing about 2mm too long, so I redesigned the the swing arms to be 2mm longer, couldn't figure out where to mount my battery, so I made a battery tray integrated into the rear diff housing lid, and with the extra weight of the battery my cheep Chinese shocks weren't going to cut it, so I redesigned the rear strut support, integrated it into the rear diff lid and made it a double set of shocks. I also added a bumper, mostly to keep the battery from sliding off the back.
All of my mods are printed in Taulman 910 Nylon. I used M3 inserts in the diff lid to screw the bumper into. I Know KrisCubed wanted this thing to work with PLA, but I haven't printed PLA in years, and ABS just wasn't going to cut it, so out came the Nylon. All of my drive train gearing is printed in nylon with the exception of the drive shafts which are printed in TPU I used KrisCubed's updated design for the Tarmo4 without the torque damper.
I also designed a tray to hold my 65A ESC (overkill I know but I wanted the option of changing the motor out for a much larger one) if anyone wants it let me know. I am also designing a tray to hold the RX and antenna, and the on/off switch, which i will also upload if there is any interest.
Big thank you to KrisCubed for his design, looking forward to his Tarmo4.
