Description
My view on a cable chain for the extruder/hotend of the Anet A8 plus. Definitely fits on a normal A8 as well. I've used the chain parts from this one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1874802 and started tinkering with it.
It works perfectly, only your print height is a bit limited. In printer settings you have to remove 40 mm from the height. No problem for me I never print that high anyway.
Have fun, and credits also go to the original designer of the chain links.
BTW you need 30 chain links and dubbel sided tape to mount the suport on top of the steppermotor holder.
