THIS IS THE NEW NANOHACK 2.0 and NANOHACK 2.0 V3-C (REMIX) VERSION

The NANOHACK 2.0 V3-C (REMIX) VERSION is modified for a better fit around the nose and widened for a more comfortable fit. For those of US with LESS STRAIGHT NOSES lol
The previous model is no longer recommended to print so I am uploading the new version.

For those of you that just want to print one filament type, you can D/L the NANOHACK 2.0 VERSION non-rimmed version along with the rimmed version at the https://copper3d.com/hackthepandemic/ web site.

I suggest you visit the site BEFORE collecting so as you get as much 411 on the masks and they're purpose as possible.

NOTE ALL THE STRAPS WERE DESIGNED USING HAIR TIES BECAUSE THATS WHAT I HAD ON HAND WHEN I STARTED THIS PROJECT. (don't judge me lol) trust me I wish I had elastic bands but it seems they're really popular these days and I couldn't find any. It is what it is

**PARTS

1. MASKS (V1&V2) -
2. SIDE MOUNT PLATE SINGLE -
3. SIDE MOUNT PLATE DOUBLE -
4. SINGLE STRAP - (Large) For use with the Single Side Plate
5. DOUBLE STRAP - There's (2) Upper straps that separate using the Snap Rivets that are attached to the UPPER Plate hook of the Double Strap Plate.
   NOTE: The Double straps** ARE NOT THE SAME LENGTH **they have to be bent for the EYE'S to line up properly! you can just bend them and attach them thogther using the Snap Rivets OR You can USE HEAT TO BEND THEM SO THE EYE'S LINE UP.
   I used the heated build plate when I popped them off the plate after I printed them.
6. NECK STRAPS - (3) SM, MED, LG, for different size necks. They can be scaled to make whatever length you need. I use a Large but mileage may vary, they are attached to the LOWER HOOK on the DOUBLE SIDE PLATES
7. SNAP RIVETS - Male & Female Snap Fit and hold the DOUBLE STRAPS together by bending the straps in a half circle.**

I have added a Strap and Mount Assembly There are (2) combinations that I have posted but there's plenty of combinations one can use to get the desired fit with re-sizing the components.
I will also Add The Strap Parts in a SEPARATE post so they can be used with different masks.

I am printing these for family and friends that can use them.
I am NOT the DESIGNER and AM NOT ASSOCIATED/AFFILIATED/NOR MAKING A PROFIT from these parts just to be clear. (now that that's out of the way)...

If you have the time and filament you can help stop the possible spread of this virus by printing a few and giving them away to someone that needs them. Maybe if more of us did this we can put all this behind us even faster, the faster the better!

YOU WILL NEED an internal filter (at least HEPA) which needs to be cut to size for optimal results.Or there's plenty of household materials that can be used if you do not have an N95 or HEPA filters on hand.
THIS MASK IS TO BE USED AS A LAST RESORT

Fitment:
You can re-scale the model by 5% or 10% so that there is a perfect fit to your face.
For PLA printers: you can make more final adjustments by heating the material by either dipping the rim in Hot (not Boiling) water and forming it as needed to create a better seal and or fit. Just be careful not to rush this procedure so as not to burn your face and or possibly deforming the part to the point of ruining the seal altogether.

Printing:
This mask assembly takes around 12hrs using a .4 nozzle and .16 res with bed support
with The Filter and cap.
