Apple Pencil Desk Stand

I use my Apple Pencil far too much and I put it down far too often as well.

I have wanted to put the pencil on my desk much like I put my soldering iron-- at an angle.

I designed this to look similar to ball point / fountain pen like stands.

Still working on the fit!

Tested with Apple Pencil Gen 1 and Apple Pencil Gen 2

###Files to Print:

• x1 Apple Pencil Holder.stl, any material
• x4 tpu feet.stl, if you would like more grip and less slip on your desk/table

###TPU Feet Installation:

**The feet are not necessary for the thing to work! **

I assembled the part by printing the parts, and then with the ball side in, I added a dab of hot glue to hold everything together.

It should be a tight fit.

Make sure that the TPU flat side is on your table as the ball end is only to help adhere the TPU to the hot glue!

**Update 4/2/20: **

• Moved the thing from "in progress" to complete
• Made the fit slightly better, make sure your printer is calibrated well
• Increased the base of the height-- makes it feel more 'premium'
• Added TPU feet (not needed)

** Update 4/420: **

• According to someone who printed this, it also works with the Gen 2 pencil!

**Update 4/8/20: **

• Made the TPU feet slightly larger and deeper
• The base of the extrusion (where the tip of the pencil sits) is now slightly larger to allow for easier removal
