Description
With this filter adapter you can convert a snorkeling mask into a faceshield including breathing filter.
This model contains the adapter and a grid to hold filter material in place.
For suitable filter material please check the internet for the latest possible alternatives.
For my prototype i used the filter of a vacuum cleaner, but there might be better alternatives.

This model has not been approved by any regulatory agency. Use it at your own risk, and only as a last resort, if you do not have any other homologated protection.
This model does not include the required filter to effectively block the spread of the virus. Also, additional isolation measures could be required to properly fit the face without air gaps.

The SUBEA Easybreath mask was not developed to protect against viruses. This mask is a PPE (personal protective equipment) category I (privacy protection) for eye protection and absolutely no PPE category III respirator and also not a medical device.
We are not a medical company and cannot guarantee factual protection against the virus.
In addition, it is not recommended to use the mask for any other purpose than snorkeling. Sealing on dry skin is not guaranteed (and also not tested). In addition, the CO2 rate inside the mask would increase as it was not designed for such use. With longer use and in the case of a stressful or tense context, the CO2 rate increases additionally.
Our Easybreath mask is not a disposable product and would have to be completely disinfected after each use, which means that the materials are impaired.
In addition, it is not recommended to modify the mask yourself, as this could impair the function of the mask, particularly with regard to the air flows.
