Power Supply Fan Silencer

Power Supply Fan Silencer update to version 02. Made in the year 2022.

In order to divert the airflow to the side and also reduce the noise, in my test I got the result that this update does not obstruct the airflow of the unit and also does not limit the cooling of the power supply!

Improvements:

Removal of unnecessary center and correction of the height of the internal fins (steps).

02 - I increased the part that fixes the power supply fan screw by 1 millimeter.

How the sound is reduced:
I drilled the holes to attenuate the noise, causing the wind flow to clash when they pass through the holes, thus attenuating the sound waves. Like the holes that the car exhaust has inside!
With a noise reduction to around 7 db!

Compatible with printers:
Ender 3 and similar (60 mm fan) - Alfawise U30, Alfawise U30 Pro, Longer LK4, Longer LK4 Pro, Geeetech A10, etc.

INSTALLATION NOTE (by Jimbo_Jones_).
An installation advice. Remove only one screw at a time, starting with the top left and rotating the duct up so you can access the second screw. Otherwise, the fan will fall into the power supply. The two sections where the screws are inserted are quite thin, this is to ensure you have enough thread in the existing screws to install the cover (no new screws needed!).

Para desviar o fluxo de ar para lateral e também reduzir o barulho, em meu teste obtive o resultado que esta atualização não obstrui o fluxo de ar da fonte e também não limita o resfriamento da fonte de energia!

02 - Aumentei 1 milimetro a parte que fixa o parafuso do ventilador da fonte.

Como o som é reduzido:
Fiz os furos para atenuar o ruído, fazendo o fluxo de vento se chocar quando passam pelos furos, assim atenuando as ondas sonoras. Como os furos que o escapamento do carro tem internamente!
Com uma redução do ruído para cerca de 7 db!

NOTA DE INSTALAÇÃO (por Jimbo_Jones_).
Um conselho para a instalação. Remova apenas um parafuso de cada vez, começando com o superior esquerdo e girando o duto para cima para você poder acessar o segundo parafuso. Caso contrário, o ventilador cairá na fonte de alimentação. Às duas seções onde os parafusos são inseridos são bastante finas, isso é para garantir que você tenha rosca suficiente nos parafusos existentes para instalar a tampa (sem necessidade de parafusos novos!).
