TAMBURATTO Buratto a tamburo rotante - Rotating drum tumbler

Questa è la mia versione di buratto a tamburo rotante.
Dopo una allegra mangiata in compagnia di amici mi era rimasto il vuoto di questa grossa lattina di birra ed ho pensato ad uno strumento che potesse farmi comodo nel mio laboratorio così, dopo aver visto gli altri progetti qui sul sito, ho deciso di progettarne uno di mio gusto.
A causa del dilagare dello spiacevole fenomeno del COVID-19 ho potuto effettare il collaudo solo "a vuoto" (senza alcun materiale all'interno del tamburo) e non so ancora quando potrò effettuare un collaudo completo. Data la mancanza di una prova reale posso solamente ipotizzare che la velocità di rotazione di 30/35 giri/min possa essere idonea (maggiore velocità darebbe un effetto centrifuga che non è idoneo al lavoro da svolgere). La mia intenzione è di procurarmi della sabbia vulcanica in quanto fortemente abrasiva. In funzione del motore in mio possesso ho dovuto creare un rapporto di riduzione molto alto (Z 7.4:1) e da qui l'esigenza di montare degli ingranaggi con una così grossa differenza (non ho voluto fare una riduzione a due stadi per non aumentare troppo gli ingombri che già sono imponenti e la difficoltà di montaggio).

This is my version of a rotating drum tumbler.
After a cheerful meal in the company of friends I was left empty of this large can of beer and I thought of an instrument that could be useful in my laboratory so, after seeing the other projects here on the site, I decided to design one of my taste.
Due to the spread of the unpleasant phenomenon of COVID-19, I was only able to carry out the "empty" test (without any material inside the drum) and I do not yet know when I will be able to carry out a complete test. Given the lack of a real test, I can only assume that the rotation speed of 30/35 rpm may be suitable (higher speed would give a centrifugal effect which is not suitable for the work to be carried out). My intention is to get volcanic sand as it is highly abrasive. Depending on the motor in my possession I had to create a very high reduction ratio (Z 7.4: 1) and hence the need to mount gears with such a big difference (I didn't want to make a two-stage reduction so as not to increase too much the dimensions that are already impressive and the difficulty of assembly).
