Description
[ Note: I think I may be breaking Thingiverse. There are 153 STLs in this project, and TIV is only showing previews for about 99. ]
This is most of my house, at 1:25.4 scale, with furniture. That is, one millimeter on the model is one inch in real life. (I say "most"; it doesn't include the garage, attic, or basement.)
Why did I do this? It's a hobby project. And it lets my wife move furniture around without actually moving furniture around.
No, I will not come do this for you and your house. No, I don't want to go into business doing this. I'm not sure how much I'd have to charge for a model like this, but I'm pretty sure that $10K would be a very low estimate. At a rough guess, there's 200-300 hours of work here. Probably more.
I don't expect anybody to actually print this, except maybe individual pieces as doll house furniture. Maybe you'll get some ideas or steal some of my OpenSCAD implementation.
Here's a YouTube video walkthrough of an OpenSCAD animation of a walkthrough. (No furniture, sorry.)
