Description

This face shield frame is a USA friendly hybrid version of the Budmen design. The lens retaining clips have been relocated to utilize the common 3-Hole-Puncher found in the USA. The side clips have been moved to accept an 8.5 in. x 11 in. "Letter" size plastic lens.

It takes mostly the Budman frame design where the "cleat" from the Prusa version has been added. This allows the utilization of either the "Buttonhole" type elastic or a band of the user's choice.

It has a closed top which is preferred to keep matter from getting between the shield and the user's face.

Using a 0.6 nozzle I've been able to get the print time under 1 hour each.

I recommend using 60% infill for the headband cleats for bridging/adhesion.
