Simple and easy to build face mask

In the past weeks I have printed various face masks with a great deal of time. None fitted immediately. I had to warm up the parts with a hair dryer and then carefully adjust them to my face. Then a second problem arose. The filter surface of the masks was quite small. If I used a dense filter material, I could hardly breathe. If I used a thin filter material, I could breathe well, but the filtering effect was not good.
A simple solution had to be found that could be implemented quickly.
As filter material I used double-layered kitchen paper.
For the attachment you need a rubber band, 2 foldback clamps (15 mm) and some small parts to be printed. These are each 2 hooks for the rubber band and 4 grip bars to hold the paper mask securely.
I printed the parts with PLA.

Hooks for 8 mm and 20 mm rubber band are included.
Also included is a grip bar with 2 holes to allow attachments to the ears. Foldback clamps are glued into the grip bars.

I am aware that my mask is only a provisional solution and cannot be compared to a medical mask. In my opinion it is better to wear this mask than not to wear a mask at all.

Ich habe die Teile mit PLA gedruckt.
