Behold the Sphero Landstrider! This accessory allows Sphero to walk about on his own 8 legs. This unique powertrain harnesses Sphero’s rotational motion and converts it into an elegant stride inspired by the Theo Jansen mechanism. Future versions of the Landstrider could include interchangeable gears for teaching young students the principles of mechanical advantage and general engineering skills.
