Description
I bought the PXMalion T320... and it was hot garbage. Even good prints I got off of it were only good by comparison to other prints from it. So I set out to make it better.
It reuses most of the original parts, but you will need some new stuff. For starters, this puts everything into a configuration thats compatible with the Prusa MK2 hot end carriage. So you'll need an E3D V6 hot end, as well as the various parts to assemble it. I didn't do a great job keeping a list of parts, but I'll try and add onto this as I can. It uses about 1 - 1.5kg of material. And the frame bolts onto the existing holes in the bottom frame.
Things I remember
PETG, 1.5kg
E3D V6 Lite hot-end
5015 blower fan
30mm fan for hot end
Multi-Pack of m3 screws from Amazon
MKS Gen L Mainboard
2x TMC2208 Steppers
2x Extruder Springs
1x Extruder Gear, MK8
1x Circuit Board End Stop (I broke the original x endstop, replaced it with what I had)
I also swapped the mainboard out for an MKS Gen L, and designed an adapter bracket that allows you to mount it to the existing mounts. There is a mount for a 40mm fan to help keep your steppers cool, as I decided to run TMC2208's instead of the A4988 that came with my printer.
In terms of screws, I bought a multi-kit from Amazon that had screw sizes from 6mm to 30mm, and it seemed to cover everything.
