Description
Bring your flat-spotted skateboard wheels back to life with this simple DIY drill lathe. You can print all the parts in 0.2 mm layer height (0.3 mm is also enough) and 25 % infill. I printed the bearing housings flat with support, because of higher accuracy for the bearing seat and more stability, but you can also try to print them upright without any support.
You have to disassemble the right pedestal bearing to clamp a wheel in. That’s the reason I chose the butterfly nuts. Don’t remove the clamped wheels bearings before, because they help to centre it.

4 x Skateboard bearings (608, 8 mm inner diameter)
2 x Skateboard spacer
2 x Speedrings
1 x M8 threaded rod (22 cm long)
6 x M8 nuts
1 x M8 butterfly nut
2 x M8 washer (large outer diameter)
4 x M6 x 40 Screws
4 x M6 butterfly nuts
4 x 3,0 x 30 wood screws
1 x Scrap wood (around 50 x 20 cm)
1 x drilling machine (6 mm and 8 mm drills)
1 x chisel/sharped file
