Description
This iPad stand uses control cams and pins to fold open and deploy hooks for the iPad to stand on.

Please ignore the two nails sticking out the side. I have no m2 screws available at the moment so I used these two very long nails to replace them for this prototype. The correct screws are flat with the outside.
this model needs to be assembled using m2 bolts and 2mm pins. This will take approx. 15-20 minutes
The control cams used are calculated such that the angle between them is constant. This means that the movement of all parts is consistent and the force required to rotate them does not change no matter how far they are already rotated. This is done using a vectorfield F which returns the slope that is required for each Point (x,y) and solving the ODE y'(t)=F(y(t)).
