Rubbermaid (Gott) and Blitz Replacement Gas Can Nut Screw Cap

Replacement Rubbermaid / Gott gas can "nut" screw cap for a 1.5 gallon "Gott" (Rubbermaid) plastic gas can.

Non-standard / custom threads made this a fun* challenge. Perseverance and a couple more Youtube lessons in how to use Fusion 360 resulted in a replacement part that works! Fits quite snug on the Gott 1.5 gallon can, and you will want to get the threads aligned to get started. The spout opening is 30.4 mm, outside diameter 52 mm, inside diameter with threads 41.7 mm.

The same threading worked even better on a 1 gallon (1g 4oz) Blitz can, which has a bit shorter neck so made another .stl that is cut down a little (though both parts posted here will work on either can).

These parts do not fit the larger (2 1/2 gallon and above) cans I tested them on from both Rubbermaid and Blitz.

Included a quarter section of the Gott-nut if you wish to print a quick test to see if these would fit a different gas can you may have. See print instructions below.
