Kossel Delta Plus Bed Clamp with Glass Clamps

Designed for the Kossel Delta Plus with 240mm heated bed.

The clamp holds a 3mm thick heated bed and optionally a 3mm glass build plate.

I have been using this on my delta for the last three weeks and I'm very satisfied with this design.

Material:

• Bed Clamp - Uses the screws and nuts from the original clamps
• Glass Clamp - Three M4 x 10mm screws and hex nuts

If you're wondering what the red fan is in the photo, it's a Bed Cooling Fan to speed up the cool down of the glass bed.

I installed it on the delta and wired the 12V fan directly to the Heater1 connection on the Trigorilla board. I did not use an external MOSFET as described in the Bed Cooling Fan install. The MOSFET on the Trigorilla board is quite capable of handling the load of a standard 12V cooling fan.

To control the fan I entered in the slicer's end gcode:

M42 P45 S255 ;(Pin 45) ;Bed Fan ON
M190 R30 ;Set Bed Temp to 30c and wait
M42 P45 S0 ;(Pin 45) ;Bed Fan OFF
M140 S0 ;Bed Heater Off
