Description
(The module in the photos is missing the XT60 connectors; i'm still waiting to receive them in the mail.)
This is simply an alternate version the "single USB" module in Marcluer's Tiny e-Lab:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2999383
The original module has a small hole at the rear end as the only access to the parts inside.
This thing instead consist of a front panel part and a rear part, and these two click together, and are held securely closed by two M3 screws. It makes it all a bit easier to assemble.
When assembling, hook the top of the front panel into the cylindrical ridge on the top of the rear part. Then you can click the frontpanel down completely onto the rear module. Screws go in from the bottom of the rear module. Type is M3, and length should be between 5-18mm.
This module uses a single female USB connector at the front. Inside the module i have a DC-DC buck converter to generate the 5V voltage for the USB port. The buck converter i used is the "Mini 360", but other modules can be used.
Fusion 360 archive is attached if you want to tweak something.
