Description

A collection of files associated with the Rubicon 3D Scanner that was launched/funded on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. This is not my design, I was a backer on Indiegogo and in hopes to preserve any files associated with this scanner so that it may have a longer life through future mods etc.
If you have any files to add to this repository, please leave a comment or DM me here.
Cheers!

  • unlike our competitors who use simple web-cam modules running in video mode, we use an FPGA chip to control the image sensor, being able to snap an image only when needed. The difference is that a webcam's main priority is to keep a steady frame-rate by sacrificing image quality. Yet we are able to achieve the best image quality by using prolonged exposure.
