Description
We use Fido jars for storing flour, noodles and other dry goods. We often change the flour types or grains we store, so we had been cutting the labels off the original packaging and just placing them in the side of the jars, but after quickly dumping out a jar of flour and mixing a paper label into bread, I realized I needed a better solution.
This sits in the lid of jar and holds the product label pressed in place. The spring loaded mechanism makes it easy to change.
I've made this for the Fido Jars, but it should work for Mäser, Korken or any other jar with the wire mounting, but you may need to adjust the outer diameter (ri) or the extra middle support length (extra_h). I also added TPU grips to the edges to help it hold better as plastic on glass held, but the TPU holds better.
I would suggest ABS or PET-G for the spring loaded grip, and TPU or other rubbery flexible material for the rubber pads.
