Description
An early concept for a prosthetic knee/elbow joint with a printable flexible hinge using the elastic properties of Filaflex from Recreus.

This joint has the advantages of being self straightening, tough and durable with shock absorption properties built in.

The socket takes the principles from the custom socket cups that I designed/printed recently which are currently undergoing tests for e-NABLE. Therefore we could have a printable or castable flexible liner that conforms to the users residual limb.
