Summary

This guide comb is designed to fit Wahl electric hair clippers. It is similar to the 'Ear Taper' guide included in some kits, but as per a request by jkmills, I designed this guide to taper from 13mm to 3mm.

June 28, 2020: Step file uploaded on request - Customized lengths can be created from this file. Be sure to fillet or chamfer the edges in contact with the head to minimize irritation.

How I Designed This

As self haircutting became the norm due to COVID-19, I began to research clippers to facilitate an easier way to blend the layers, similar to the Wahl Ear taper guide comb. I did not find any suitable files online, so I decided to create my own. Based on measurements from my own pair of clippers, I was able to develop a 3D model that I could generate custom tapers.
