Description
Prevents the power plug from backing out of the jack during use. Fits older mounts that have a DB9 handset connector and a right-angle 5.5/2.5mm 12V plug. Does not block the power LED and ST-4 autoguider ports.
To install the bracket, first insert the power plug, then the bracket over the plug and around the DB9 connector, and then the DB9 handset plug. Tighten both thumbscrews of the handset plug to lock them in place. I used 6 small washers under the thumbscrew knobs to make sure that the DB9 plug stays fully seated.
Updated 09/26/2020 - Added a version with a slot for a velcro cable tie.
