This is a simple stand for filament spools up to 8.25-inch (210mm). Additional hardware provides strength and stability.
INSTRUCTIONS
- The size in each file name indicates the distance between the clips: 80mm (3-1/8 inch), 74mm (2-7/8 inch), or 68mm (2-5/8 inch). Print 2 pieces of a design for each stand.
- Carriage Bolt design is for 1/4-20 bolts. Square recesses will accommodate carriage bolt heads. Otherwise, any 1/4-20 bolt or screw will work. Use a bolt 7/8 inch longer than distance between clips.
- Barrel Nut design is for M6 barrel nuts and screws; these are used in furniture assembly. This hardware option is more compact and looks better than conventional screws and nuts. Use a screw about 10mm longer than distance between clips.
- Print a spool hub for 2" diameter common spool size or scale it in your slicer.

ADDITIONAL PARTS
- 2x screws and nuts to match the design file printed.
- 1/2-inch aluminum tubing or rod cut to length.
