Fluval Spec V - Baffle - Betta Fish

This THING is to reduce the water movement for Betta Fish not to be thrown around. All other methods that I found online basically just reduced the flow or blocked it. I have another more Complex design that I created that uses a spray bar to distribute water to the entire tank.

Notes on Design:
The diffuser bars are required so that the water does not just hit the inside face and shoot straight out of the top, they even the flow out across the entire top of the Baffle opening. They ALSO prevent fish from getting into the Baffle where they would get stuck and tumbled to death.
The holes in the bottom are to ensure water under the Baffle is not stagnant and because without them too much water flowed out the top. These holes are tapered so that you can drill them out further if you are getting to much flow over the top.

There are (2) files:
One is to print flat but will require many strategic supports especially for the inlet so that it doesn't get distorted. This one also has pre-installed supports to hold up the diffuser bars and slow the flow of water even more than v2.
Second one has a 45 on it so that it can be printed with very few supports. It also has no supports inside to hold up the diffuser bars to maximize water flow.

To all that are concerned about safety, I'm closely monitoring the health of the tank. It's a new tank so if it doesn't work out then we'll know how safe this is. The Betta has made several Bubble Nests which is a clear sign of a happy healthy Betta.

It's Anycubic Eco Resin, I've had it in there for several weeks and had the water tested regularly for unusual chemicals bleeding out, nothing unusual yet. Fish and Aquatic Plants are a great indicator of water quality. Both are happy and healthy so far. I make no guarantee about the safety of your fish with whatever resin that you choose.

It's attached to the filter return so every bit of water in the tank is being pumped through it several times a day. I think if there was going to be a problem then it would have shown in the plant or fish health. But again I make no guarantee since manufacturers could change resin composition at any time and not let anyone know.
