Yaesu FT-4X Battery box

This is a basic battery box I put together in freecad. I use this as a battery eliminator for my FT-4XE.

It is not really finished or perfect. But it is perfectly functional. It clips in and stays in place as you would expect.

I use automotive spade connectors for the contacts. I supply the DC connector you see in the pictures with 8.4v from a DC to DC converter (buck). This way I can power this from my car or some other 12-24v source.
