Air Pump Oil Separator

Air Pump Oil Separator for pumps like the ones found in refrigeration units. It catches oil in the air that is being forced up through holes with alternating location and allowed to drip back down the air line once the compressor is off or enough oil has accumulated. The holes are perfect for 6mm OD PVC tubing, they are undersized by 0.2mm. Use some Oil when seating the hose in the openings to make insertion easier.

The two parts of the filter need to be glued together after printing, the inlet side may need chamferring on the inside, depending on the accuracy of your printer. remember to use enough support on the inside of the inlet. This part has shallow overhands that can not be printed without splitting the part further.

The coupler may be used if you need to join 2 pieces of 6mm OD PVC tubing.
Both the filter and the coupler have space for 5mm wide zip tie.

In Testing, all the links between the tubes and inlets/outlets could bear >8 bars of pressure, with only minor leaks.
