Minecraft Chibi Creeper (BobbleMob)

I saw the 10 Year Anniversary Edition Creeper Mega Bobble Mobs the other day at GameStop, and while I wanted to buy one, I don't really have the space (or spare cash).

But, since I have printers, I decided to design my own!

This Creeper is not an exact replica of the Mega Bobble Mobs, as I used approximate dimensions. Additionally, the head does not bobble (yet - I might add that later). However, it does capture the cute "chibi" style design that I like, and I can print it at nearly any scale.

The Chibi Creeper is mostly hollow for quick printing, and prints in several pieces that fit together later. These should be a friction fit, but may need some glue depending on your printer and how you intend to use the model.

The smallest recommended scale is 200% (the files here are quite small because Inventor doesn't like exporting things in the right scale), while it was intended to be printed at 500% scale for a total height of 150mm, about the same size as the original Bobble Mob it was based on. Anything in between is fair game. The test print in the images above is at 200% scale.

Note that the Face and Toeses need to be scaled down as they are 10 times larger than the rest of the files.

If you wanted, it would be relatively simple to add a hook and make this a keychain, please let me know in the comments if you want this, or post a remix if you do it yourself.

To Print:
You will need to print:
2x Straight feet (Green)
2x Tilted feet (Green)
1x Body (Green) Needs Supports, Build Plate Only
1x Head (Green)
4x Toeses (Black) Scale down by factor of 10
1x Face (Black) Scale down by factor of 10

The toeses and face are optional. All of the files are in optimal printing position.

After Printing:

1. Assemble Head and Body.
2. Add Toeses and Face if you decided to print these (may need glue).
3. Add Feet. These may take some force to attach, if you can't get them to fit, it may be necessary to sand the pins on the body, or widen the holes on the feet with a drill. Be careful not to snap the pins, otherwise you're stuck gluing the thing together.
4. Take photos
5. Post a Make so that others can see your excellent print! I will personally like and comment on all makes to show my appreciation (and if you see a nice make you should like it too :-) )
6. Enjoy!
