Summary

If you own a specialized or s-works e-bike, when you put on a new wheel, you will need to put a magnet at the rear rotor for the speed sensor to work. Note without the speed sensing working, the motor will never turn on.

This version is not a speed delimiter. It's a plain version to make boost wheels with a hole rotor work on the specialized turbo and creo SL e-bikes.

There are two versions : for 8mm and 1/4" (6.35mm) magnets. Print whichever magnet you happen to have. (Note for the 1/4 magnet, I put two magnets in just in case).

Please be careful and use at your own risk.</p><p>If you can print this in ABS, the glass transition point is much higher than PLA, so ABS - or similarly stronger materials will be preferred.</p><p>Note it your wheel uses center-lock rotors, you have to improvise something else --- I noticed that if you can secure a magnet on the rotor in any way, the speed sensor will work --- just be aware that the magnet can fly off mid ride and your ebike will become a heavy human powered beast if that happens.   </p></div>

Post-Printing

Glue the magnet into the middle slot and make sure it is secure (won't fly off) before riding.
Ensure your bolts are long enough. You may need to get 2 bolts that are 3mm longer if your existing bolts are too short.
Do not over tighten --- High torque will crush the plastic.

Note that this is a test object done for fun. Use at your own risk as type of material chosen has a huge impact on safety if your riding requires rapid sudden braking for any reason at all.
