Description
Created a ball bearing using 6mm AirSoft BB's. This is unique in that you place the 2 races inside each other and feed 20-22 BB's into the opening inside the inner bearing. The little arrow cover snaps on or could be glued in place. The arrow shaped cover fills the void of the filler channel. Slide them over a 2020 tube with the spool in between. My FolgerTech came with a 2020 extrusion mounted with a 90° fastener to hold the spools.
The heavy spools spin with no effort now!
I recommend mounting with arrows pointing downward. This way, no matter what tolerance issues anyone would have, the BB's will not come in contact with the cover.
I don't believe in my situation anyways that I need a lip inside to hold the spool in place. Down the road, if there is a problem I might upgrade.
I printed with no supports.
