20200704 Update: Added V2 for a more comfortable and economical design. People with bigger hands (glove size L and above) may still prefer V1.
I read a lot on my iPad Mini 2 in portrait mode but I couldn't hold it comfortably for too long. I have tried different cases and straps but none of them meets my need. Okay then, this looks like a job for me.
After some modeling and testing, I present you this "bookworm" handle for a comfortable grip during reading/browsing. It can also be used as a stand for landscape mode.
Print "ipadmini23_handle" for an iPad Mini 2nd/3rd Gen, or a scaled-down version "ipadmini45_handle" for a 4th/5th Gen. Insert the lower-left corner of your tablet into the handle and that's it! You can also mirror the part in your slicer and print one for your right hand.
Remixed from ipad mini Clip-on Stand (retina and non-retina) by e-nozzel.
