FT-857 side rails - handles

These are rails that can be mounted to the side of the FT-857 HF radio from Yeasu. They provide protection and handles. I have lifted the radio many times using these handles and when printed correctly they are strong enough.

I recommend printing them from a strong material, like PLA-Pro, Nylon, or petg. I am able to print these laying flat diagonally across the bed of my Creality CR-10. They can be split for printing on smaller beds. I have included the step files so they can be easily imported into your favorite 3d modeling software for splitting. To attach these to your radio you will need 2 4mm screws. I used the rail mounting screws included with my radio. If you need to purchase screws make sure the screws are not too long or they will damage the radio. Refer to the manual for information on the side mounting screws.
