Lack Enclosure Single Filament Direct Guide

Description

Since I was having issues with the MMU2S (surprising), I wanted to design a filament guide to feed the filament directly above the printer through the lid.

The guide is short and intended for Lack enclosures that have been prepared for the MMU2 (i.e., the bottom of the lid has been carved out). Others have posted similar designs that are longer and will extend through the full thickness of the lid.

I also included a plug that can be inserted when it is not in use, like if I actually get the MMU2 to work correctly.

I printed the guide out of PLA and the plug out of TPU so that it could have a snug fit and not rattle.

Used a 5/16" drill bit to drill two holes roughly 1 3/16" (30mm) apart. Then cut out the material between them. The guide fit in pretty snug, but superglue could be used if needed.

Note: This is designed for 1.75mm filament (the opening is 3mm wide for some clearance), but it could be scaled up in X/Y of your slicer to fit the 3mm filament.
