Description
I had to open the motor of the filtration pump of my above ground pool, so I had to place the cap on the two holes that connect the tubes to the filtration pump.
I could close the water outlet, as it's positioned higher (at the limit of my arm) but the water inlet is near the ground and I had to go inside the pool to place the stopper there...
Imagine if the water is not clear (if you have pump issue that's not hard...) entering bad water in a cold day to do that it's not so enjoyable...
But hey, I have a skimmer! The skimmer is connected with a tube to that bottom water inlet. So if I place a cap on the top of that tube... And so this model was born.
Simply remove the skimmer from the tube and place this cap into the tube. It will not be watertight but it will be enough to do some works on the pump :)
I also designed a cap with a thread for the water outlet. I'll upload that soon.
Please note: the tube is called "38" (mm) but for some odd reason the inside diameter is 41mm...
