Description
An easy-to-print design for an external side spool holder for the Ender 3 and similar printers.
It can be used by itself, as free-standing, or to further support the stock black spool holder when mounted on the side with a 3D printed bracket.
Sometimes, the bracket breaks or cracks as it is subject to torsion by the leverage of 1kg spools, so this helps relieve that stress and redistribute the weight.
This external spool holder also helps when using small filament samples that don't come with a roll.
It is designed with the characteristic hexagon style of Prusa ;)
