Artillery X1/Genius BMG Aero Mount

I have included two new mount adapters to be mounted with an aluminum BMG mount which can be purchaed in many stores (https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32970850889.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.1f29649d39yNIw&algo_pvid=b04baa9f-fb0e-4ddb-8100-963e78a512c6&algo_expid=b04baa9f-fb0e-4ddb-8100-963e78a512c6-8&btsid=0b0a119a15977856889243664efdd5&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_). This is made to improve stiffness and heat dissipation. The updated mount seems pretty much like the one remixed (this just includes the holes for the M3 washers and can be mounted with the stock screws) and the main difference comes with the part fan mounts.

Mount adapter for the BMG Aero from Mellow (https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4000084805415.html), compatible with Artillery/Evnovo 3D printers.
This is a remix of the 'Artillery Sidewinder X1 All-Metal Aero BMG Mount' by TheGooNie (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4435066). I wanted to create an unibody mount in order to reduce the screws needed and the set weight:

• For Sidewinder X1 v4/Genius, choose the BMGAero_mount_adapter (heat resistent material and extruder stepper Vref setting to 0.6V is highly recommended).
• For Sidewinder X1 v1-3, choose the BMGAero_mount_adapter_v1-3. (heat resistent material and extruder stepper Vref setting to 0.6V is highly recommended) This design has not been tried on a printer, although the mounting holes should fit.
• If mounting with the BMG aluminum mount, choose the BMGAero_mount_adapter_Alu or BMGAero_mount_adapter_v1-3_Alu. Additional 4 M4x14 screws and 4 M4 square nuts are needed.

No additional pieces are needed (just stock M3x8 screws), although M3 washers are recommended.

2 designs for part fan are available (both of them need 2x M2x10 screws, 2x M3x18 screws and 2x M3 square nuts):

• BMGAero_4020_fan_mount can be used with the stock part fan and duct.
• BMGAero_5015_fan_mount uses a 5015 radial fan. I have no skill to design a fan duct, so I adapted the one designed by martin_au (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3009290), although many other 45º ducts should fit.

Do not forget to invert the extruder motor direction, calibrate steps/mm (around 415) and level the printing surface after montage.
STEP files for every design (except the 5015 fan duct) are available for further modifications.

El objetivo es majorar la regidez del conjunto y la disipación de calor. La montura actualizada es muy similar a la que tomé como referencia (esta sólo incorpora los huecos para las arandelas M3 y puede montarse con los tornillos de fábrica) y la principal diferencia en el diseño está en las monturas para el ventilador de capa.

Montura para el extrusor BMG Aero de Mellow (https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4000084805415.html), compatible con las impresoras 3D Artillery/Evnovo.
Se trata de un remix del 'Artillery Sidewinder X1 All-Metal Aero BMG Mount' diseñado por TheGooNie (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4435066). Quería una montura en una pieza para reducir la cantidad de tornillos necesarios y el peso del conjunto:

• Para la Sidewinder X1 v4/Genius, descarga el modelo BMGAero_mount_adapter (es recomendable utilizar un material resistente a la temperatura y bajar el voltaje del driver del extrusor a 0.6V).
• Para la Sidewinder X1 v1-3, descarga el modelo BMGAero_mount_adapter_v1-3 (es recomendable utilizar un material resistente a la temperatura y bajar el voltaje del driver del extrusor a 0.6V). Este diseño no se ha montado en una impresora, aunque los agujeros de montaje deberían coincidir.
• Si se utiliza la montura de aluminio, descarga el modelo BMGAero_mount_adapter_Alu o el BMGAero_mount_adapter_v1-3_Alu. Se requieren 4 tornillos M4x14 y 4 tuercas cuadradas M4 adicionales.

No son necesarias piezas adicionales (sólo los tornillos M3x8 de fábrica) aunque se recomienda montar arandelas M3.

Existen 2 diseños para el ventilador de capa (ambos necesitan 2 tornillos M2x10, 2 tornillos M3x18 y 2 tuercas cuadradas M3):

• BMGAero_4020_fan_mount se puede utilizar con el ventilador y el conducto de serie.
• BMGAero_5015_fan_mount utiliza un ventilador radial 5015. No sé cómo diseñar un conducto para este ventilador, así que adapté el diseñado por martin_au (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3009290), aunque otros modelos con ángulo de 45º deberían funcionar.

No olvides invertir el sentido de giro del motor del extrusor, calibrar los pasos/mm (en torno a 415) y nivelar la superficie de impresión después del montaje.
Los archivos STEP de todos los diseños (excepto la tobera para el ventilador 5015) están disponibles para realizar modificaciones.
