Description
Easy tool for calibrating extruder e-steps. Requires Vernier callipers to measure the extruded length. Removes any twists and bends in the filament for accurate measurements.
Insert filament through calibration tool, then into extruder.
With the calibration tool standing on the extruder infeed, cut off filament level with the top of the calibration tool.
Extrude 100mm of filament and measure actual extruded length.
e-steps x extrude distance = X
X / actual extrude distance = new e-steps
