Rigid Dual Spool Dryboxes
I printed the original ones but my extruder pulled the spools from the guiding rolls. Thus I designed more constraining ones that limit the spools' movement solely to rolling.
It is rather a complete redesign than a remix, nevertheless the original design inspired me very much.
The spool holder can be adjusted to any spool size via the nuts.
I added the Fusion 360 model to enable customization.
** Hints: **
- I am operating five of these since 3 months and everything is working well.
- PLA is sufficient as you should keep the filament anyways any from excessive sunlight / temperature
- Use silica gel in the containers to keep humidity between 10-20%
** Electronics: **
- DHT22 and 5.1k Ohm resistor optional, can be connected to the octopi
- My pi reads all 5 DHT22 one after another and sends the data to my home assistant via MQTT (https://github.com/Tobi0892/octoprint-mqtt-enclosure)
- Temperature / humidity readings can be integrated into the octoprint enclosure plugin, OctoDash or Home Assistant (for the latter see link above)
