Ender 3 V2 V-Slot Covers

Note: Highly suggest that you print a sample of the version you would like in order to have a physical model to test with before printing a full batch. Thing Files contains a sample for each version (filename: SAMPLE-V1,V2,...) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Options: -------------------------------------------- Version 1 Version 1 with no text imprinted Version 2 - Make sure you use a fine detail/resolution. These have a very low tolerance in order to achieve the tight fit. If you dont want to print in fine detail, use Version 3 that has a higher clearance to the slots. Version 3 - These are version 2 with added clearance for those who do not want it so tight. This the only version that currently contains files for the vertical slots (towers and gantry). If you need these for one of the other versions, let me know. -------------------------------- 10/19/2020 - Added "no text" variant of V1 slot covers. Added zip file (E3V2-V-Slots-ALL-Files-Structured.rar) containing all files (to date) structured into folders, hopefully making it easier to select. Added quick summary to simplify version selection. 10/05/2020 - Added V3 vertical covers As requested, I have added 2 additional files to cover the vertical slots. Please note however that these are based on the V3 dimensions. If you need these for the other versions, let me know. By my count, to cover the front and rear facing vertical slots you would need: 8 x ver3_Ender3_V2_V-Slot-POSTS-Part1of2.stl 8 x ver3_Ender3_V2_V-Slot-POSTS-Part2of2.stl 2 x ver3_Ender3_V2_V-Slot-GANTRY-Part1of2.stl 2 x ver3_Ender3_V2_V-Slot-GANTRY-Part2of2.stl -------------- 09/27/2020 more clearance -------------- v3 = v2 + 0,21mm clearance Some folks were having issues getting the covers to fit into the slots, so i added a version with higher tolerances. ------------- 09/01/2020 Added another version of the V-Slots ------------- v2. Flush A Flush and snug(gier) fit than the original. Filenames: ver2_Ender3_V2_V-Slot-***.stl,... v1. Raised bed. For a raised bed the strips are flipped over. Note however that they are not the same as the v2. They've been redimensioned to get the raised bed effect. Filenames: ver1_Ender3_V2_V-Slot-***.stl,... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a remix from ximes and originally from nicocazza's V-Slot covers. Original print was too tight for my Ender 3 V2 (i wanted the strips to be slightly above the bed), so i I adapted the inserts by shaving off 0.2mm on either side of the grip face, changed the lengths for my setup, and trimmed the edges to better accommodate the stepper motor,... Note, some strips (having the same length) are naturally interchangeable but i nonetheless labelled them. If you need help figuring out where each strip goes, use the placement guide (pdf).
