Summary

For an assessment of an activity toy I needed some probes to estimate the risk of gaps and entrapement.

the dimensions follow the standards:
EN 71-1 - driving mechanisms & hinges - 5/12mm
EN 71-8 - entrapement of fingers 7/12mm

fully inserted and seeing a green part is fine, red may be outside the standard. This probes shall only be used to estimate, not for a resilent assessment!
