Parametric volumetric doser (Grasshopper)

This is a volumetric doser - useful for measuring dry granular material; like petfood!

This is a completely parametric object - which requires Rhino3D/Grasshopper. If you have these tools the atttached grasshopper script will allow you to specific a volumetric doser with any initial and final volume. You specify required volumes and diameter of the doser and it does the rest. You can tweak every aspect of the design of course!

The resulting doser volume is set by twisting the base. There are detents to ensure you set volume is stable - and the doser has the volume per click/slit inscribed in the side. Self explanatory!

There are a couple of example STLs of the output of this object. You can see a real-world printed output in addition to renders. This really works!
