[Update Feb 28, 2022]
#IMPORTANT NOTICE:
New download link : https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/117037-lack-bme280-sensor-mount-for-ender-3

Since the user experience on thingiverse.com decreased constantly and new obstacles were setup in the last few weeks (e.g. imposing wait prompts for each single download, deprecated batch downloads, requirement to disable ad-blocker, slow performance, etc.), I decided to move all my prints over to prusaprinters.org where such issues do not exist. That means further, I won't update my print here any more and update and new print will be available on prusaprinters.org. I'll leave my account here active for reference.
Please consider to join me on prusaprinters.org and leave a "Like" if you love my prints.
Thank you for your attention!

This is another sensor mount for my Ender 3. See here for my previous one:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4597337

I made another one, because i was not satisfied with the laginess of the AM2302/DHT22 on the RaspberryPi.

This mount encloses a BME280 which is supposed to be very accurate in measuring temperature, humidity and air pressure. And it is :)
Please note that the BME280 is shipped with various PCB form factors. For my mount is use a 4 pin version with a small PCB board.

For my LACK enclosure project with a temperature controled fan I needed to mount the temperature sensor near the printing area of my Ender 3 to receive as accurate temperature values as possible, which are not influenced by obstructions or drafts

Thus I decided to mount it in a relatively higher position on back of the Z extrusion rail above the PSU.

The enclosure is mounted with the sensor on the extrusion rail with 2x M3x8 hex screws and 2x M3 T-nuts.

The sensor is connected to my RPi which is built into an AIO enclosure on the back of the printer. To read out the temperature I use the Enclosure plugin for OctoPrint.
