Description
The Elegoo Saturn is an awesome MSLA 3D printer, except that I really like the cover I have on my Epax X1 which was a hinged cover that flipped up to open.
I designed a "Hinged  Cover" that uses two gas struts to help smooth out the cover opening and to help secure the cover in almost any angel in it's 100 degree range.
UPDATE 11/18/2021
Redesigned the entire base/cover in Fusion360 and added v2 stl files as well as the Fusion360 file. I haven't printed these yet.
Next update will have the heater_display_enclosure_v2.stl and ac_jack_power_switch_mount_v2.stl with Fusion360 file and hopefully a assembly video.
UPDATE
I just notice I didn't list the AC Jack/ Switch. Sorry about that.
AC 250V 10A IEC 320 C14 Panel Mount
Hardware:
1** Aluminum handle** 64mm hole to hole, 90mm in length.
2 20N gas struts. Amazon or equivalent (optional)
2 sets of Shock Brackets with screws from
The Lock Connection or equivalent (needed if installing gas struts.) The struts come with it's own set and a set contains 1 round and 1 right angle. This installation needs both to be the round type.

Amazon only one package of 2.
Transparent Dark Red Acrylic Plexiglas Sheet 8" x 12" x 1/4" Cast Acrylic Ebay
12V 15A 180W Power Supply Adapter 110V / 220V AC to DC
3 10mm x 5mm x 3mm N52 Rare Earth Neodymium( 2 install on the front of the base, 1 install on the lower part of the cover. This helps the door from opening.
12 M3x10mm button head bolts (secure shock brackets to rear bottom and front top)
12 M3 washers (shock brackets)
12 M3 nuts (shock brackets)
4 M3x20mm socket head bolts (secure the base to the Saturn)
4 M3x8mm button head bolts (secure PS to the rear half)
4 M4x12mm button head bolts (secure the heater enclosure to the base)
8 M6x16mm button head bolts (for the hinges)
8 M6 lock nuts (for the hinges)
Sorry I didn't think of making a video of the assembly but it is pretty easy to figure out.
I printed the heater_display_enclosure with my Saturn and tapped the 4 mounting holes with a M4 tap.
I used medium Cyanoacrylate to bond the 2 cover pieces together, 2 base parts together, the trim to the cover, trim to the base, the magnets to the base and cover.
