Treasure chest - Working Lock

An intricate Treasure Chest with a fully working rotational lock that is still easy to print and put together. The lock mechanism consists of 3 parts and is designed to be pretty foolproof to messup. It is however only plastic so forcing it to hard might not be the best of ideas. That said i hope someone will enjoy this design :)

Included in the package are build instructions if needed.

If there are problems or parts need to be adjusted slightly please post a comment and ill try to resolve. Same with any ideas for improvement. Feedback is always welcome!

The model is printable without supports except for "Lock Inner Ring". Appart from that it is advisible to print the chest top and bottom with rafts to prevent lifting of the sharp corners.

Files that need multiples:

• Chest Foot x4
• Hinge Pin x2
• Hinge Pin End x2
• Ring x2
• Ring Holder x2

Parts that need to be glued:

• Chest Foot x4 (depending on how tight it fits)
• Hinge Pin End x2 (depending on how tight it fits)
• Ring Holder x2
• Lock Hook
• Lock Back

If the Hinge pin doesnt fit then try sanding it down till its a bit smoother, it needs to be a tight fit for the lid to be able to remain up, but it also shouldnt be completly forced in. Also make sure u have the correct rotation.
