Hello,
I needed some wind generators for may train layout. I just found some wonderful design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2077537
I scaled it down a bit to match the HO scale, redesigned the hub, the blades and the nose and made a new pole.
The generator is designed to be fit with a geared motor - about 60 rpm at 12 volts, so it gives a realistic rotation.
The motor is any N20 mini motor with gears set. Widely used in the 3D pens. Can be purchased at AliExpress or Amazon
You will also need 4 pcs 3 mm screws to close the body shell.
It is work in progress, as I haven't printed and tested it yet.
