airsoft laser sight

Description

My design of a airsoft Lasersight:

For assembling:

You need:

2 AAA batteries
tin can
pen spring
slide switch (maybe you have to customize the hole for your switch. I used a normal slide switch i just cut the wings of so its a little smaller you can buy those on amazon)
laser diode from an laserpointer. You can find these laserpointer every where on the internet (look at the picture).
If you dont get the laser diode out of the case there is a video where this is shown:

you have to cut out an an 2 by 2 cm sheet of metal out of the can.
grind the surface to get rid of the plastic layer
cut a 2 by 10mm slot into one side uf the metal piece
place the piece with the uncut side in one slot of the battery case and bend the the rest over like you can see on the picture.
on the other side you place each a 5 mm long piece of spring
solder two small cable to both springs and to the contacts of the diode. - on the back of the diode and + at the other side near the metal piece of the diode (like in the picure shown)
place the switch in the hole and the diode in place. now you can put in the batterys and carfully fit all together.
if you like to you can put some glue on, but you dont have to its a strong connection without.
