Description

A colleague asked if I could make her a Tower of Hanoi game. However, I wanted to make a special version, so I designed an entire island.

To solve the puzzle you need to bring the disks from one far pillar to the opposite far pillar. You are only allowed to move one disk at a time and at no time it is allowed that a disk comes to rest on a smaller disk.
The puzzle was invented by a mathematician Lucas around 1883. Lucas made up a legend around this puzzle as well (which gave it its name): It is said that in a monastery in the region of hanoi monks try to solve a puzzle with 64 disks. If they ever manage to do so, the universe will end. However this is not very unlikely as this will take something around 585 billion years.

How to print:
I printed the Island.stl and paused the print at each level and changed the filament. This will take some time and whether or not you'd like to stick around your printer you might want to print the levels one after each other. Please note, that there are several pins that should fit exactly to the next level. Don't use supports or you will have to remove support structures from 2mm holes.
Print the pillar thrice and bolt'em down to the base plate. This might need some patience.

Enjoy and I'd love to see your prints, of course!
