Description
This is a miniature replica of Riven's sword (modeled from LoR's Blade of the Exile spell art) that "reforges" itself using magnets in each of the blade fragments. Mounting holes for magnets, lights, and/or string are included on the model for holiday decorations.

Step 1: Print out pieces with translucent filament (https://tinyurl.com/yd3a7b57) then sand as necessary to prep contact surfaces for the next gluing steps.
Step 2: Superglue the three hilt pieces (hilt1, hilt2, hilt3) together, then the two pieces of blade fragment 1 (frag1-1, frag1-2) together (they're separated to more easily remove internal support material so that you can have a hollow cavity to stuff your lights in there).
Step 3: Set and glue 10mm x 2mm circular magnets (https://tinyurl.com/y8qa8aec) into place to allow the pieces to attach. The model assumes a tolerance of 0.5mm, this should allow you to press-fit them in, though if it doesn't go in immediately you can just file away at the edges until it does! Don't forget to match the polarities on each side, and you'll need to use 2x magnets where the holes are deeper in order to get a good holding strength given the prop's weight.
Step 4: Put some string through the holes (3mm) to hang them from somewhere.
Step 5: Paint as desired. If you do, don't forget to leave the "runes" unpainted so they can still shine through.
Step 6: Stuff some lights in if you'd like through the holes in the back (https://tinyurl.com/yd8jyj9j). You can tape or glue the battery holders to the backs of the blade pieces to conceal them.

Attach the mounting cone to it with superglue if you're looking for a tree-topper.
Note: In order to make these work you MUST use white filament for the proper translucence.
