Description
This is the 'FC Hansa Kogge' designed with the support of a good friend and colleague of mine.
You can choose to print 'mast.stl' and 'kogge.stl' in one part with support or use the prepared halves ('mastA.stl', 'mastB.stl', 'koggeA.stl' and 'koggeB.stl') and glue them together after printing.
To align the halves during gluing I used pieces of toothpicks which can be inserted into the printed holes. Depending on the tolerances of your printer, you may have to rework the holes.
To build the sail we prepared a PDF document. Print the PDF file and cut the paper at the marks so that you get one piece with the griffin sign and some pieces of white paper. Glue the parts together and use a curved surface as a base to bend the stacked papers properly. Trim the overhanging ends up to the griffin sign. The sail should fit into the cutouts on the 'mast.stl' part.
We additionally added a 'sail.stl' file. However, this part is very difficult to paint after printing. You may be able to build the part using a multi-color setup.
Have fun.
